As of March 2016, Israel Gal has entered his role as Executive Chairman of the Acoustiguide Group Board of Directors.
Mr. Gal has served as the CEO of Acoustiguide Group (formerly Espro-Acoustiguide) from 1997 to February 2016, growing it from an OEM manufacturer into global multimedia technology company. He has overseen many acquisitions, including the acquisition of Acoustiguide Corporation in 2005 which formed the Acoustiguide Group, and the purchase of Tristan Interactive in 2013. Incorporating Tristan Interactive (today: Acoustiguide Interactive) into the Group brought Acoustiguide to become a prominent DEVELOPER and provider of Mobile Apps for the Museum, Tourism and Entertainment industries worldwide.
In 2015 Mr. Gal has founded a Joint Venture that created and formed Acoustiguide China (Jiashan), the Group's new entity in China.
Israel spent 20 years in the Israel Defense Forces, retiring as Colonel. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bar-Ilan University and a Master's degree in Political Science and Jewish History from the University of Haifa. In 2012, Mr. Gal was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland for his contribution to promoting the Polish culture in the state of Israel, after bringing alive a unique and heroic story of turning the Warsaw Zoo into a haven for Polish resistance and persecuted Jews during WWII. At the present time, Israel is devoting much efforts in bringing alive the forgotten heritage of the Jews of Tianjin, China, and commemorate the one synagogue left in this city.
Nadav Karni joined Acoustigude in 2003 and served as CFO till 2012. He had a leading role in Acoustiguide Corporation in 2005 which formed the Acoustiguide Group.
In years 2012 till 2016 Nadav served as CFO of two medical devised companies - one for Home use HomeSkinovations Ltd and the other for professional use Invasix Ltd.
Nadav returned to Acoustiguide in 2016.
Prior to joining Espro in 2003, Nadav worked as senior manager at Ernst & Young for six and a half years. In his management role at E&Y, Nadav was responsible for dozens of companies, some trading on Israeli and foreign markets.
Nadav received his Bachelor's degree in business management and accounting at the College of Management.
Simon Dale became part of the Acoustiguide team when it acquired Tristan Interactive, a company he co-founded in 2009. He manages Acoustiguide Interactive's engineering team and oversees all software development work to create custom-built interactive, cross-platform mobile applications and related content-management systems. Previously, he worked in software development at Magmic Games. Mr. Dale graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science.
Oshrat Balul joined Acoustiguide in 2011. She previously was CFO at Redstone Real Estate Investments and CFO at Leader Real Estate International. She began her career at Ernst & Young. Ms. Balul is a CPA and holds a B.A. in business Management.
Ronit Tzur Decker joined Acoustiguide (then Espro) in 1996. She oversees and coordinates the company’s worldwide marketing activities. Before joining Acoustiguide, Ms. Tzur Decker was marketing administrator for ATL Advanced Technology software house and worked as a translator for the Israel Broadcasting Authority. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she majored in English literature and general studies.
Shmuel Shalem is one of the founders of Espro Acoustiguide and is responsible for all technical activities of the company from R&D to product design and implementation. He previously worked at design centers in the US and Israel. Mr. Shalem earned a master of science degree in computer engineering from the University of Santa Clara in California and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Technion - Israel institute of Technology.
Menachem Schorr joined Acoustiguide in 1998. Prior to joining Acoustiguide, he was finance manager at a commercial organization and was an assistant manager for Mizrachi-Tefahot. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Tel Aviv University and MBA from the Open University of Israel.
Eyal Ben Gigi joined Acoustiguide in 1994 and is responsible for the company’s operations and technical support. Previously, he worked at Tadiran. Mr. Ben Gigi received his bachelor’s degree in management and economics and his MBA from the Open Academic University in Tel Aviv.
Katrin Schwerdtfeger joined Acoustiguide in 2011 and has been with Acoustiguide in Berlin as the Head of Sales and Marketing before she moved to New York beginning of 2015.
Prior to joining the Acoustiguide Group, Katrin worked in the cultural and travel industry in roles ranging from marketing to client services. Katrin received her Master’s degree from the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. She has previously worked in the U.S. as part of the German National Tourism Office.
Julie Treumann joined Acoustiguide in 2007, bringing a diverse background in media, writing and production. She HAS worked as a freelance writer, studied German in Berlin, and wrote, directed and produced documentaries for The History Channel, A&E, and The Weather Channel. She has also worked in radio, as a talk show producer at top-rated WGN-AM in Chicago. Ms. Treumann earned a BA in Art History and History from Mount Holyoke College and a MA in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan.
Jeff Hunt became part of the Acoustiguide team when it acquired Tristan Interactive in 2009. He leads Acoustiguide Interactive's talented team of designers, and works with our clients to transform their business and functional requirements into compelling interactive experiences.
Previously, Jeff has worked on large-scale web and interactive projects with TripAdvisor, Alcatel, Magmic Games, and Animatics Interactive.
Jeff graduated with Honours from the Graphic Design program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada, and studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Ottawa.
Louisa joined Acoustiguide in 2002 and manages Acoustiguide Limited with responsibility for client development in UK, Ireland and Italy.
Previously she managed events and exhibitions; specialising in art, antiques and 20th century design at Clarion Events and IPC Media in London.
Louisa received her Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) in Social Anthropology and also holds a postgraduate diploma from Anglia Business School in Cambridge in Arts Administration.
Maryanne Leigh joined Acoustiguide in 1998 and is responsible for client development in Australia and New Zealand. Previously from a museum background, Maryanne now assists clients in developing comprehensive multimedia experiences for their visitors. Working closely with writers on scripts and overseeing studio production ensures that projects are delivered as required.
Iris Lin earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Yu Da University of Science and Technology. She joined Acoustiguide as Head of Finance & Administration in 2004 and became the Managing Director of Acoustiguide Asia in May 2016. Iris is the Financial Director of Acoustiguide China as well. She is familiar with diverse aspect of company management, finance, and interdepartmental coordination.
Kaori Kurata has been Managing Director of Acoustiguide Japan since 2010. She oversees aspects of the business, from managing the creation of custom content to sales and marketing and operations. Ms. Kurata joined Acoustiguide in 1999 as creative manager, where she specialized in script writing and managing the creative process. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music and art history from International Christian University.
